Jenna Sommers: zodiac sign and birth chart
Jenna Sommers has no canon birthday. The Vampire Diaries never gives one, so her chart is read from her personality. She's an Aquarius: the young aunt who treats two grieving teenagers like people and refuses to pretend she has it figured out. Cancer rising is the part that moves into their house and stays. A Pisces Moon means she feels all of it.

Aquarius keeps things honest and a little unconventional. Jenna becomes the guardian of Elena and Jeremy with no training and no act: an aunt, not a replacement mom.
- Moon

A Pisces Moon takes every hit personally. When she learns Elena already knew about Isobel, she won't hear anyone out and walks out of the house.

No birth time in canon. First impression: a young aunt in a family house that isn't hers, working out the guardian job as she goes.

Pisces Venus gives second chances and pays for them. She goes from Logan Fell, who has already cheated on her once, to Alaric, and she wants the truth from him most of all.
- Mars
CanonNot in canonNEBO's takeTaurus
Taurus Mars stands its ground once. Logan comes to the door wanting in, and she shuts it with no second thoughts.
What the show does give: a woman who didn't plan on being a parent and shows up anyway. An Aquarius answers by doing it her own way, without faking an expertise she doesn't have.
How she shows up
Why she's like this
Aquarius is the sign of independence and doing it your own way. Jenna brings that to the hardest job in the show, in scenes fans still bring up.
CoreAquarius Sun
Takes the job anyway
Elena and Jeremy's parents die in a car crash, and their mom's younger sister becomes their legal guardian. Nobody prepared her for this, and she moves in.
