Shandra Jimenez: zodiac sign and birth chart

Shandra Jimenez has no canon birthday. Gravity Falls never gives her one. Read from her personality, she's an Aquarius: cool, detached and reading the news in a town where the news is often a monster. Aries rising explains why she's first in front of the camera, and why she'll remind you she's a real reporter.

We ran Shandra through the same model that matches people to characters in the app, and looked at which chart gets her most often. It reads her as air first: a level voice and a bit of distance from whatever is happening behind her.

Sun CanonNot in canonNEBO's takeAquarius
Aquarius stands slightly apart from the crowd. Shandra works the same stories as Toby Determined and leaves no doubt they are not colleagues.
Moon CanonNot in canonNEBO's takeLibra
A Libra Moon wants things to look composed. The on-air manner stays polished through nearly anything. The big exception is the mayor's death, when she cries on air because it's the first real news she's had in ages.
Rising CanonNo birth timeNEBO's takeAries
No birth time in canon. First impression, Aries style: microphone up, straight to camera, already telling you who she is.
Mercury CanonNot in canonNEBO's takeAquarius
Aquarius Mercury delivers strange facts plainly. A boy band of clones and an arrest get the same news voice as everything else.
Venus CanonNot in canonNEBO's takeNo clear pick
Mars CanonNot in canonNEBO's takeLibra
Libra Mars keeps its fights civil. She outranks Toby for most of the series without raising her voice, and after the apocalypse she's back on the air.

What canon does give: a TV reporter with a very clear idea of her own job. Aquarius keeps its cool and reports the weird stuff like it's the weather.

How she shows up

Why she's like this

Aquarius is the sign of cool heads and keeping a little distance. Shandra hits it by reporting from a town where nothing is normal, in the same even voice almost every time.
