Melody: zodiac sign and birth chart
Melody has no canon birthday. The show and its books never give one. Read from her personality, she's a Scorpio: she works a meat stand at the mall, meets a grown man riding a toy train, and decides he's worth a second look. A Pisces Moon keeps her laughing at his jokes from another city.

Scorpio Mercury says the hard part out loud. She tells Soos she lives in Portland, then offers the fix in the same breath: video chat.

Scorpio Venus commits. Long distance with Soos goes on all season, mostly offscreen, and it holds.
- Mars

Cancer Mars sticks by its person when things go wrong. The date turns into an animatronic attack, she gets captured, and she still forgives him in the ruins.
What canon does give: a few minutes of screen time and one big decision, which is Soos. A Scorpio answer is to pick a person once and keep picking him, even from Portland.
