Portgas D. Ace: zodiac sign and birth chart
Portgas D. Ace is a Capricorn, born on January 1, New Year's Day. Canon never gives a year, so only his Sun is official and the rest of his chart is NEBO's take. Capricorn fits the commander who carries the weight of his crew and falls asleep face-first in his food mid-sentence.

NEBO's take
Canon says Capricorn. Our model says Pisces.
We ran Ace through the same model that matches people to characters in the app, and looked at which chart gets him most often. It reads him as Pisces first: Sun, with an Aries Moon, Cancer Rising and Sagittarius Mars.

CanonCapricornNEBO's takePisces
Canon's Capricorn takes responsibility: Ace hunts down a traitor from his own crew. Pisces is the dreamer who sailed off alone in a tiny boat.
- Moon
CanonNo birth yearNEBO's takeAries
Canon gives no year, so the Moon is our take. Aries Moon acts on the first feeling: Ace sits down at a table of strangers, falls asleep in his meal and wakes up thanking them.
- Rising
CanonNo birth timeNEBO's takeCancer
No birth time in canon. First impression, Cancer style: a freckled grin under an orange hat, shirtless, and already your friend.
- Mercury
CanonNo birth yearNEBO's takePisces
Pisces Mercury says it sideways. Ace never says the heavy things out loud, and on the surface he is all jokes and appetite.
- Venus
CanonNo birth yearNEBO's takeAries
Aries Venus loves fast and without hesitation. A reunion with Luffy turns into a hug, a joke and a promise to meet again.
- Mars
CanonNo birth yearNEBO's takeSagittarius
Sagittarius Mars fights bright. Fire Fist turns his arm into a pillar of flame that burns through ships.
Where we agree: both charts work for something bigger than themselves. Capricorn takes on weight, Pisces gives himself to his people, and Ace set sail doing both.
