Gen Narumi: zodiac sign and birth chart
Gen Narumi is a Capricorn, born on December 28. The manga's profile never gives a year, so his Moon and the rest of his chart come from NEBO's take. Capricorn fits the Captain of the First Division, the strongest officer in the Defense Force, who is ruthless in battle and a total mess at home.

NEBO's take
Canon says Capricorn. Our model says Aquarius.
We ran Narumi through the same model that matches people to characters in the app, and looked at which chart gets him most often. It reads him as Aquarius first: the genius who lives online, with Libra Moon and Rising and Aries Mars.

Canon's Capricorn is the captain with the highest standard on the battlefield. Aquarius is the same man at home, ignoring anything that isn't a game.

No birth time in canon. First impression: a cheerful, relaxed officer who doesn't look like the strongest man in the force.
- Mercury

Aquarius Mercury lives on the internet. Between battles he plays video games and never cleans his room.
- Venus

Pisces Venus loves softly and without fuss. Behind the genius there is a guy who really cares about his team.
- Mars

Aries Mars strikes first and hardest. His Kaiju No. 1 weapon tells him where the enemy will be.
Where we agree: both signs are the best at one thing and don't care about the rest. Capricorn built a career on it, Aquarius just plays video games.
