Yukako Yamagishi: zodiac sign and birth chart

Yukako Yamagishi has no canon birthday. The manga names only her sign, Sagittarius, and never a date. Read from her personality, she's an Aquarius: a first-year in Morioh who plays by rules nobody else agreed to and writes the lesson plan herself. Scorpio rising and Mars explain the hair, which is alive and will absolutely come for you.

NEBO's take

No birthday in canon, only Sagittarius. Her personality says Aquarius.

We ran Yukako through the same model that matches people to characters in the app, and looked at which chart gets her most often. It reads her as Aquarius with a lot of Scorpio: her own logic, delivered with total intensity.

Sun CanonNot in canonNEBO's takeAquarius
Aquarius runs on a private rulebook. Hers says that kidnapping a classmate is a perfectly reasonable way to improve him.
Moon CanonNot in canonNEBO's takeTaurus
A Taurus Moon likes making things with her hands. She cooks, sews and builds, and yes, one of the things she builds is an electric chair.
Rising CanonNo birth timeNEBO's takeScorpio
No birth time in canon. First impression, Scorpio style: long hair, a cold stare, and a left eye that twitches when she's about to lose it.
Mercury CanonNot in canonNEBO's takeAquarius
Aquarius Mercury has ideas about education. Her idea of breakfast is an English test.
Venus CanonNot in canonNEBO's takeNo clear pick
Mars CanonNot in canonNEBO's takeScorpio
Scorpio Mars doesn't let go, and neither does Love Deluxe. Her hair reaches, grabs and holds while she stands calmly aside.

What canon does give: a sign, Sagittarius, for a girl who says exactly what she wants and goes straight for it. An Aquarius answer is to do that by her own rules, whatever the rest of Morioh thinks.

How she shows up

Why she's like this

Aquarius is the sign of odd logic and doing it your own way. Yukako goes further with that than anybody in Morioh, in chapters fans still quote.
