Alex Armstrong: zodiac sign and birth chart
Alex Louis Armstrong has no canon birthday. Neither the manga nor the anime gives one. Read from his personality, he's a Scorpio with a Pisces Moon: the Strong Arm Alchemist, who strips to the waist at the most dramatic moment and cries tears of pure emotion. Under the show-off is a man who still carries what he saw in Ishval.

Scorpio is depth under a loud surface. Armstrong announces his family technique to a room, but the part he never mentions is Ishval.

Pisces Moon cries easily and means it. He gets teary over kindness, over loyalty and over a story that matters.
- Rising
CanonNo birth timeNEBO's takeCancer
No birth time in canon. First impression: a huge, muscled major with a sparkle in the air around him and a mustache that deserves its own rank.
- Mercury
CanonNot in canonNEBO's takeScorpio
Scorpio Mercury doesn't say everything. The jokes cover what he won't talk about, and the people close to him know it.
- Venus CanonNot in canonNEBO's takeNo clear pick
- Mars
CanonNot in canonNEBO's takeScorpio
Scorpio Mars fights to protect. When it's his sister and him against a monster, nobody in Amestris would bet against the Armstrongs.
What canon does give: a major who is both a comic act and a conscience. The Pisces side is the tears. The Scorpio side is the quiet guilt about Ishval that he never jokes about.
