How it works

Astrocartography maps one simple idea: the sky you were born under looked different from every spot on Earth.

  1. 1

    The moment you were born

At that minute each planet was rising somewhere on Earth, setting somewhere else, straight overhead in one place and underfoot on the other side of the planet.

  2. 2

    Your planet lines

Join every place where a planet sat on one of those four points and you get a line across the globe. Ten planets, four points: 40 lines, drawn from your date, time and place of birth.

  3. 3

    Your cities and countries

NEBO checks every city in the app against your lines. A city close to your Venus line scores for love, close to Jupiter overhead for career and money. Each country is ranked by its best city.

What each line means

The point sets the area of life. The planet sets the flavor.

  • Rising

How you come across. People notice you fast.

  • Setting

Partners, dates and close people. Who you meet.

  • Overhead

Career and reputation. Being seen for your work.

  • Underfoot

Home, family and roots. A place to settle.

  • Sun

Recognition. You feel more like yourself and get noticed.

  • Moon

Home and comfort. A place that feels safe.

  • Mercury

Talk, study and deals. Your mind runs faster.

  • Venus

Love, beauty and money that comes easier.

  • Mars

Drive. Great for sport and hustle, rough at home.

  • Jupiter

    Luck and growth. Doors open.

  • Saturn

Hard work, slow results. It builds you and wears you down.

  • Uranus

Sudden change. Exciting on a trip, unsettling to live with.

  • Neptune

Dreams and art. Easy to lose focus.

  • Pluto

    Deep change. Everything gets rebuilt.

Heavy lines: Saturn, Pluto and Neptune rising, Mars setting or underfoot, Uranus underfoot. Fine for a trip, harder to live on for years.

Questions

Which country should I live in based on my birthday?

Astrology's answer is the country where your strongest planet lines run. Enter your birth date in NEBO and you get a ranked top 10 of countries, each shown through its best city, with what that place is good for: love, career, money, friends, calm or creativity.

What is astrocartography?

A way of reading your birth chart on a world map. For the moment you were born, it draws where each planet was rising, setting, overhead or underfoot. Places near a line are said to bring out that planet's side of your life.

Is it free?

Yes. The full report is free in NEBO: top 10 countries, city pages, six themes, harder places and travel windows.

Do I need my birth time?

The date is enough to start. But the lines move with the clock: every hour of birth time shifts them about 15 degrees east or west. Add your birth time and city and the map is exact.

What does the percentage mean?

How many of your strong lines a city gathers, compared with your best city. Your top match is 99%. A country is shown through its best city.

Can a place be bad for me?

Some lines are heavy: Saturn, Pluto or Neptune rising, Mars setting or underfoot. NEBO lists those cities separately as harder to live in. A trip there is fine. Years there tend to cost more effort.

Where should I travel this year?

The report has travel windows for the year: dates when Jupiter backs trips and moves, and dates when it is smarter to stay home or double check your documents.

Is astrocartography accurate?

It is a tradition of interpretation, not science, and no study backs it. Use it as a fun way to think about places, not as advice for a real move.

Astrocartography is a way to read your chart, not a forecast. The example is computed by the same engine as the app.
