Daichi Sawamura: zodiac sign and birth chart
Daichi Sawamura is a Capricorn, born on December 31. The manga never gives a year, so only his Sun is canon. Capricorn fits the captain who holds Karasuno together with a rock-solid receive and a smile you do not want to see when he is angry.

Canon and our model both say Capricorn: the foundation. Daichi takes the hardest serve and sends the ball to the setter.

No year in canon, so the Moon is our take. Capricorn Moon is composure: when a crisis hits, his job is to stay calm and say the plain thing.

No birth time in canon. First impression, Aries style: direct. He tells a fighting pair of first-years what he expects, and he means it.
- Mercury

Capricorn Mercury says the plain thing and means it. The scary smile when he is angry says the rest.

Virgo Mars is a fighter of fundamentals. Receive after receive, nothing flashy, nothing missed.
Where we agree: the Sun, and leadership. Capricorn leads by being the one you can lean on, and the Aries Rising walks to the front of the line.
