Shingo Mido: zodiac sign and birth chart

Mido is an Aquarius, born on January 25, 1972. That gives him a Gemini Moon, Capricorn Mercury, Pisces Venus and Aries Mars, all from the official guide. Aquarius fits the Yotsuba executive who stays a step apart and is more sober than the rest: when the game starts to smell wrong, he sees it.

NEBO's take

Canon says Aquarius. Our model says Taurus.

We ran Mido through the same model that matches people to characters in the app, and looked at which chart gets him most often. It reads him as Taurus first: Sun, Rising, Mercury and Mars, with Leo Moon and Sagittarius Venus. Slow, practical and not easily pushed.

NEBO's take

Taurus SunRead from his personality
  • Sun CanonAquariusNEBO's takeTaurus

Canon's Aquarius stays detached when the group gets carried away. Taurus is the practical streak: he wants things to make sense.

  • Moon CanonGeminiNEBO's takeLeo

Canon's Gemini Moon talks things through. Leo Moon needs respect and does not like being used.

  • Rising CanonNo birth timeNEBO's takeTaurus

No birth time in canon. First impression, Taurus style: a solid executive at the table, steady and hard to rush.

  • Mercury CanonCapricornNEBO's takeTaurus

Canon's Capricorn Mercury is businesslike. Taurus Mercury is slow to say yes and slower to say it again.

  • Venus CanonPiscesNEBO's takeSagittarius

Pisces Venus feels the mood of the room. Sagittarius Venus says out loud when it has turned.

  • Mars CanonAriesNEBO's takeTaurus

Canon's Aries Mars is the first to voice doubt when the others are caught up in the thrill: the emergency brake. Taurus Mars holds that line.

Where we agree: both signs resist group pressure. Aquarius steps back to think, Taurus plants his feet.

How he shows up

Why he's like this

Aquarius is the sign of detachment, independent thinking and keeping a cool head. Mido hits every one of them, in scenes around the Yotsuba table.

  • CoreAquarius Sun

    Sober in the room

In the Yotsuba meetings where the fate of competitors is decided, he is more sober-minded and less eager to go to extremes than the others.
