King Bumi: zodiac sign and birth chart

King Bumi has no canon birthday. The series never gives one, only that he is well over a hundred years old. Read from his personality, he's a Taurus: Sun, Moon, Mercury and Venus in the same sign. Stubborn, patient and very, very hard to move, with a Capricorn rising that hides a sharp mind behind the cackling.

NEBO's take

No birthday in canon. His personality says Taurus.

We ran Bumi through the same model that matches people to characters in the app, and looked at which chart gets him most often. It reads him as earth almost from top to bottom, which makes sense for the king of the most earthbending city in the world.

Mars CanonNot in canonNEBO's takeCapricorn
Capricorn fights with patience and force. When the moment comes, Bumi doesn't need an army.

What canon does give: an old friend of Aang who looks mad and plays the long game. A Taurus answer is to wait, stay put and strike when it counts.
