Which Stranger Things Character Is Zendaya?
NEBO reads Zendaya’s public birth date as Mars in Cancer, Venus in Cancer and a Moon in Taurus or Aries, depending on the hour, and in Stranger Things that combination lands Joyce Byers.
A single mom who works at a store and raises two sons - and when Will disappears, she’s the only one who refuses to believe he’s gone.
Everything happens inside one house
Joyce turns her living room into a phone line, with Christmas lights and a painted alphabet, and later takes an axe to her own wall. Zendaya worked a similarly house-bound job on Malcolm & Marie, shot entirely at one private home in Carmel-by-the-Sea in 2020, with Zendaya also producing. No axe appears in the credits.
Care carries Joyce here
Only one line pays out for Joyce: care, 1.80 profile points. Joyce’s other line, home above all, scores nothing here. One of Joyce’s darker lines also scored: fictional villain math, no claim about Zendaya.

Hears her kid through the walls (Season 1): The lights flicker, and Joyce decides Will is talking to her. She strings Christmas lights all over the house and paints the alphabet on the wall so he can answer.

Joyce against the signs
671 of the 12,000 test charts landed Joyce, 5.6%, and the best overlap with them here is Mars in Cancer at just 1.0×, so Joyce comes from the trait profile rather than the sign list. Joyce’s strongest magnet is Cancer Sun at 1.8×, and this chart has Virgo there. Sun in Virgo, at 0.6×, argues against Joyce.
Karen finished 0.15 back
Karen pushed it close, 3.41 against Joyce’s 3.56. The split: Joyce collects 1.80 on care, and Karen answers with charm at 1.25. Nancy Wheeler sits 0.40 behind that at 75%. Barb Holland topped the raw number at 3.96 against Joyce’s 3.56, then lost out to the cast’s gender, age and role rules.
Karen Wheeler, for the record: Karen Wheeler is the mom of Mike, Nancy and little Holly, the picture-perfect suburban housewife of Hawkins.
And Nancy Wheeler: A straight-A student and Mike’s older sister who, after her best friend Barb disappears, stops being the “good girl” and picks up a shotgun.
